The arrangement with the Federal Government to provide temporary accommodations to residents of Mud Lake at 5 Wing Goose Bay has been further extended to August 19, 2017, as per their requirement to review accommodations requests every 30 days. As a result of the extensive flooding at Mud Lake in May, 13 residents are currently residing in base housing at 5 Wing Goose Bay and four residents are staying with family.
