Public Advisory: Granite Lake Forest Access Road to Close Temporarily for Emergency Bridge Repairs

The Granite Lake Forest Access Road, located immediately south of Millertown, will be closed for the entire day on Sunday, July 30. The closure is required to allow for emergency repairs to the bridge located on Black Brook, approximately one kilometre south of the Exploits River bridge crossing.

Public Advisory: Two Sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park Reopen

Two sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park in central Newfoundland that were closed as a result of the Thanksgiving 2016 rain event have been reopened. Repairs to sections from Notre Dame Junction to Glenwood and from Glenwood to Gander have been completed and passed inspections.

Public advisory: MV Legionnaire to Enter Service at Bell Island – Portugal Cove July 31
Transportation and Works
Ramp repairs to the MV Legionnaire are nearing completion with the vessel scheduled to begin service at Bell Island – Portugal Cove late afternoon on Monday, July 31. Prior to the start of service, the vessel will undergo trial runs and docking exercises beginning Friday, July 28.
