A new provincial licence plate for veterans was officially unveiled today at the Royal Canadian Legion War Memorial in Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove. The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, presented the first of these new licence plates to Frank Sullivan, a veteran and First Vice-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Command of the Royal Canadian Legion. They were joined by the Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Service NL, and Provincial Command President Comrade Ross Petten.

Public Advisory: Temporary Motor Registration Office Closure in Corner Brook

The Department of Service NL advises that on Tuesday, August 11, the Government Service Centre/Motor Registration offices in Corner Brook will be closed so that staff can transfer operations back to the original offices on the bottom floor of the Sir Richard Squires Building. The department apologizes for any inconvenience. Regular service will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12. In the event of an urgent need for service on August 11, the public may contact 1-877-636-6867.
Premier Welcomes Minister Sullivan’s Return
