The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at the 29th Annual Baie Verte Mining Conference today (Friday, June 3). The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Siobhan Coady, Minister of Natural Resources, and Brian Warr, MHA for the District of Baie Verte - Green Bay. The event is taking place at the Baie Verte Kin Centre beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Season Extension Program Supports Three Festivals and Events in the Province

The Provincial Government is committed to the continued expansion of the Newfoundland and Labrador tourism season through exciting season extension festivals and events. Budget 2016 includes $144,000 to support events through the province's Season Extension Program. Three events are being announced today, with more to be announced later in the fall and winter.
