Tender for Infrastructure Upgrades Awarded for Irishtown-Summerside

A $2.3 million tender has been awarded to West Coast Excavation and Equipment Co. Ltd to undertake upgrades to the sanitary sewer outfall in Irishtown-Summerside. Provincial Government Increases Personal Care Home Subsidies

Effective today (Friday, September 1), the Provincial Government will increase the base monthly subsidy rate it provides to personal care home operators by $80 for each subsidized resident. This increase brings the total monthly subsidy up to $2,375 per person. It is the third increase in three years for a total additional investment of $16.3 million.
