The Department of Transportation and Works has begun expanding the Provincial Plow Tracker service to highways in Labrador and a second tow plow will be added to the Trans-Canada Highway on the Avalon Peninsula in January.

The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, today announced $110,000 in funding for SPCA Newfoundland and Labrador (SPCA NL). The funding is an annual contribution to assist the activities of the province’s nine regional SPCA branches.
