Premier Ball will also announce Team Newfoundland and Labrador’s flag bearer for the opening ceremonies at the games being held in Red Deer, Alberta, from February 15 to March 3.

New Investments in Theatre Newfoundland Labrador Help Make Cow Head Facility a Reality

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador (TNL) is currently constructing a 2,000 square metre, 178-seat multi-functional theatre complex for the Gros Morne Theatre Festival dinner theatre and musical productions. The new facility, in Cow Head on the province’s Northern Peninsula, will enable TNL to increase its creative output and enhance production standards, meet health and safety requirements, and better serve its audiences.

The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, today announced $62,570 for New Wood Manufacturers Inc. to assist with the purchase of innovative equipment to allow for the efficient production of stairway treads, handrail and other components. New Wood Manufacturers Inc. is matching the provincial investment for a total project cost of $125,140. Derrick Bragg, MHA for Fogo Island - Cape Freels, visited the company today.
