As part of the ceremony, Minister Mitchelmore unveiled an interpretive panel to honour the Regiment in Gallipoli, Turkey.

Enforcement officers in Newfoundland and Labrador now have the authority to issue tickets for federal regulatory offences under the Contraventions Act. The new regime removes the requirement for offenders to appear in court in cases which are not contested, leading to improved efficiencies and cost savings in Newfoundland and Labrador’s court system.
