The work of public health inspectors is being recognized this week with the proclamation of September 22 to 26 as Environmental Public Health Week in Newfoundland and Labrador. The theme, The Next 100 Years: Reaching new heights in health protection, acknowledges and recognizes that health is influenced by many factors outside the health care system.
