A contract valued at just over $6.9 million has been awarded to Magna Contracting and Management Inc. for completion of the new Virginia Park Elementary in St. John’s. The new school is being constructed adjacent to the existing Virginia Park Elementary.

The Provincial Government, through the Honour 100 Grant Program, has provided the 150 (North Atlantic) Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Association $15,000 to assist with the construction of a First World War aviation exhibit.
