Seniors, Wellness and Social Development
The Provincial Government is partnering with the Coalition of Persons with Disabilities (the Coalition) to implement a media and marketing project designed to create more positive perceptions of persons with disabilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The project, entitled Creating a Positive Image of Disability through Marketing and Media, is being supported through a $50,000 Provincial Government investment.
Provincial Government Announces New Roadwork in Port de Grave Region
Transportation and Works
Roadwork valued at $665,000 is underway in the Port de Grave region. The work is being carried out by Concord Paving Ltd. of Carbonear and includes paving, drainage improvements and culvert replacements. The roadwork is anticipated to be completed this construction season.
