The evaluation of the pilot project which examined the effectiveness of camera technologies in construction zones has found that close to half of the vehicles it monitored were travelling higher than the construction zone speed limit.

The campaign is an Indigenous-led initiative, which draws upon culture and ceremony as a means of reconciliation and responding to the tragedy of domestic and gender-based violence. This is the second year for the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly to participate in the MHC.
