Provincial Government Supports Corduroy Brook Nature Trail Improvements to Enhance User Experience

With support from the Provincial and Federal Governments, the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is improving the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail Network to create a high quality tourism product, enhance user experience and draw more visitors year-round. The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is contributing $100,000 towards the project, and the Government of Canada is providing a non-repayable contribution of $200,000.

Construction has started on a new intermediate school in Paradise. Anticipated to be completed by September 2021, the new school will be approximately 11,000 square metres over three floors and accommodate more than 800 students from Grades 6 to 9.

Minister Dempster Announces Support for Multi-Purpose Community Building in St. Lewis

The Provincial Government, the NunatuKavut Community Council and the Town of St. Lewis are investing in a new multi-purpose building, including a fire hall for the community of St. Lewis. The project has a total value of over $470,000.

The Outer Ring Road from Kenmount Road interchange to Logy Bay Road interchange will be closed Sunday, June 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Department of Transportation and Works is providing assistance to Clean St. John’s for a cleanup in the area.
