Today, the Honourable Graham Letto, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, was joined by the Honourable Ralph Goodale, federal Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, to announce close to $2 million in funding for three flood risk mapping projects. The Federal Government will provide $980,000 under the National Disaster Mitigation Program with the Provincial Government providing the same amount in matching funds.

The Department of Health and Community Services is inviting applications for the 2018-19 Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Fund Program. The fund provides financial support to individuals, community groups, schools and non-profit organizations interested in increasing awareness and understanding of mental health and addictions in Newfoundland and Labrador.
