Advanced Education -- Today, November 29, the Province is announcing additional funding to help post-secondary students with the rising cost of living. About 11,000 students who receive Nova Scotia student assistance in the 2022-23 academic year will receive a one-time payment of $550.

Community Services -- The Province will provide $360,000 in funding for a new emergency shelter serving Cumberland County this winter to support people experiencing homelessness.

Agriculture -- Nova Scotians are encouraged to share their views on what the government can do to help get more healthy, local food onto kitchen tables.

Community Services -- The Province will provide funding for another emergency shelter in Halifax Regional Municipality this winter to help people experiencing homelessness.

Natural Resources and Renewables -- Additional funding from the Province and federal government will ensure all homes in Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw communities can get free energy efficiency upgrades.

African Nova Scotian Affairs -- The Province is providing $225,000 to the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia to advance the centre’s vision to protect, preserve and promote African Nova Scotian culture and history.

Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment / Health and Wellness -- Doctors already living and working in the province will now play a lead role in convincing other doctors to practice in Nova Scotia.
