The Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will attend meetings of the Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers (ACFAM) in Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, tomorrow (Thursday, October 16). The meetings will take place at the Rodd Brudenell Resort, located at 86 Dewars Lane.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will hold regional identification camps for the 2017 Ladies’ and Men’s Canada Games programs. These camps will be held at Exploits Valley High, Grand Falls-Windsor, on October 26, 2014. The ladies camp will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The men’s camp will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. These camps are open to athletes from the region born in 2000 and 2001.

Funding of $46,772 has been provided to the 2014 festival for its new Interactive Industry Film Forum.
