Premier's Office -- As part of International Literacy Day today, September 8, the Council of the Federation is recognizing Andrew Chacko of Antigonish as the Nova Scotia recipient of its literacy award for his leadership, resilience and dedication to literacy and American Sign Language (ASL).

Justice -- The Province is accepting all recommendations included in the review of its cyberbullying legislation.

Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission -- An independent human rights board of inquiry in the matter of Disability Rights Coalition of Nova Scotia, Beth MacLean, Sheila Livingstone and Joseph Delaney vs. the Province of Nova Scotia will continue Tuesday, September 13.

Natural Resources and Renewables -- The Province is providing $7.1 million as part of a $20.8-million investment in the planning and design of a new Burnside Transit Centre in Dartmouth.

Environment and Climate Change -- Nova Scotia submitted a proposal today, September 2, to the Government of Canada with its recommended plan in response to new federal requirements to price carbon.
