Seniors -- Remarque : Le communiqué est suivi de la liste des bénéficiaires de subventions pour l’exercice de 2018-2019. Les organismes néo-écossais qui aident les personnes âgées à avoir une vie active et à rester engagées dans leurs collectivités peuvent maintenant présenter une demande d’aide financière dans le cadre du Programme de subventions des communautés amies des aînés pour l’exercice de 2019-2020. Le programme fournit des fonds jusqu’à concurrence de 25 000 $ aux organismes qui travaillent à rendre leurs collectivités amies des aînés, des collectivités où les politiques, les services et les structures aident les personnes âgées à vivre en sécurité, à être en santé, à rester actives et à participer à la vie communautaire. La première date limite pour la réception des demandes est le 4 octobre.

Seniors -- NOTE: A list of the 2018-19 grant recipients is at the end of the release. Organizations who help older Nova Scotians lead healthy and active lives and stay involved in their communities can now apply for financial support under the 2019-20 Age-Friendly Communities Grant Program.

Lands and Forestry -- NOTE: A list of camping park opening dates follows this release. Provincial parks will begin opening Friday, May 17, for a season filled with camping, hiking, swimming and exploring nature.

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal -- Le printemps signale le début de la saison de la motocyclette en Nouvelle-Écosse.
