New Cannabis Production Facility to Create Jobs in Western Newfoundland

To further position Newfoundland and Labrador as a leader in Canada’s cannabis industry and create new jobs, the Provincial Government has reached a production and supply agreement with Biome Grow Inc. and its local entity Back Home Medical Cannabis Corporation. This performance-based agreement will help create a minimum of 120 new production jobs, bring economic spin-offs to the Bay St. George area and more than $15 million in revenue to the province over five years.
