Premier Ball will be joined by the Honorable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation and the Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment and MHA for Humber – Bay of Islands. Infrastructure Upgrades Will Improve Safety and Accessibility on the Trans-Labrador Highway

The governments of Newfoundland and Labrador and Canada today announced a combined investment of approximately $15.3 million for major upgrades to Route 510 on the Trans-Labrador Highway. The Provincial Government is contributing more than $8.1 million towards the work while the Federal Government is providing over $7.1 million through the Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component – National and Regional Projects (PTIC-NRP).
