Justice -- Safe and supportive housing can help people transitioning out of correctional facilities overcome barriers and make positive changes in their lives.

Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage -- NOTE: A list of organizations receiving funding follows this release. Fourteen community rinks across the province are receiving critical upgrades that will extend their lifespan and create more access to sport and recreation, especially for women and girls.

Advanced Education / Health and Wellness / Premier's Office -- A new research institute at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish will help improve the health of rural Nova Scotians by focusing on the root causes of poor health and related issues.

Agriculture -- Grape and other fruit growers whose crops were affected by the extreme cold weather in February will soon receive additional support to help them recover.

Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage -- The Province has proclaimed the Combat Sports Authority Act and updated regulations to ensure combat sports are safe in Nova Scotia.

Advanced Education / Health and Wellness / Premier's Office -- Nova Scotia is set to become a national leader in leveraging data and analytics to improve patient care through the creation of new health data analytics and health system administration programs at Saint Mary’s University.

Status of Women -- The Province is providing $8 million to help organizations supporting women experiencing gender-based violence meet an increased demand for their services and address rising operating costs.

Advanced Education / Health and Wellness / Premier's Office -- Nova Scotia will educate, recruit and retain more doctors with a plan to open Nova Scotia’s second medical school campus at Cape Breton University by fall 2025.

Natural Resources and Renewables -- Provincial burn restrictions will be in effect from March 15 to October 15.
