Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- To develop future talent for Nova Scotia’s growing ICT and technology sectors, students from across the province will expand their skills and knowledge through the use of robots in the classroom.

Municipal Affairs -- A $2-million provincial grant will help Halifax Transit buy nine buses this year to replace aging MetroX rural express buses in the fleet.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- Funding commitments to five applicants have been made through the Eastlink TV Independent Production Fund Program.

Business -- Government is providing funding for small-scale projects that will bring better high-speed Internet service to more rural areas of Nova Scotia.

Energy -- Nova Scotia homes and businesses are now powered by North America's first in-stream tidal turbine.

Public Prosecution Service -- Jane Mills has been appointed a Crown attorney in Dartmouth. Martin Herschorn, director of public prosecutions, announced the appointment today, Nov. 22.

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal / Health and Wellness -- One of Canada's top architecture and design firms will begin the detailed planning process needed to determine what the QEII Health Sciences Centre redevelopment project will look like, and where services will be located.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) announced a newly approved production through the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund today, Nov. 22.

Premier's Office -- Nova Scotia has reached an agreement-in-principle with the federal government that will protect Nova Scotians' pocketbooks and build upon the province's position as a leader in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Energy -- Government funding will be used to create a plan for the final piece of the Active Transportation Rails to Trails network, which is part of the Blue Route provincial cycling network.

Justice -- Communities, victims and offenders will benefit from the province-wide expansion of the Nova Scotia Restorative Justice Program to adults.
