Municipal Affairs and Housing -- REMARQUE : Une liste complète des projets municipaux financés suit le présent communiqué. Quinze projets municipaux recevront une aide financière pour aider à atténuer les risques d’inondation et soutenir les infrastructures municipales, dont 675 477 $ pour dix projets du Programme d’aide aux immobilisations provinciales et 246 448 $ pour cinq projets du Programme d’investissement dans l’infrastructure réduisant les risques d’inondation.

Project Funding to Address Flood Risk and Community Infrastructure

Municipal Affairs and Housing -- NOTE: A full list of municipal projects receiving funding follows the release. Fifteen municipal projects will receive funding to help mitigate flood risk and support municipal infrastructure, including $675,477 for 10 projects under the Provincial Capital Assistance Program and $246,448 for five projects under the Flood Risk Infrastructure Investment Program.

Auditor General -- Terry Spicer, vérificateur général par intérim, a publié un rapport de vérification opérationnelle, aujourd'hui 28 juillet 2020. Le rapport présente un examen des processus du gouvernement provincial pour définir les sites contaminés dont il est responsable et les gérer. The report examined the province’s processes for identifying and managing contaminated sites it is responsible for and followed up on the recommendations from the June 2010 management of contaminated sites audit at the Department of Environment.

Agriculture / Intergovernmental Affairs -- The Governments of Canada and Australia have reached an understanding concerning certain measures in the World Trade Organization dispute, Canada – Measures Governing the Sale of Wine. This agreement will see Nova Scotia phase out a markup policy applied to wine from emerging wine regions, including Nova Scotia.
