Provincial Government to Evaluate Implementation of Waste Management Strategy

The results of the work will be used to ensure that the strategy is being implemented in a modern, efficient and cost-effective manner.

The Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation is accepting applications for the 66th annual Arts and Letters Awards Program. As part of the Provincial Government’s commitment to improved service delivery, for the first time ever, submissions for the program will only be accepted in digital format. At a recent ceremony, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officer Travis McDonald was announced as the 2016 Provincial Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officer of the Year and the 2016 Shikar–Safari Club International Wildlife Officer of the Year for Newfoundland and Labrador. Mr. McDonald received the award during the Ninth Annual Uniformed Services Gala held at Canadian Forces Station in St. John’s.
