Emergency Health Services Employees Honoured

Premier Thanks Deputy for Service
Premier's Office -- Premier Tim Houston thanked Geoff MacLellan for his service to the province over the past year as Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Chair of the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) Housing Task Force. Mr. MacLellan has departed the public service to pursue a new opportunity and will be stepping down from the task force in the coming weeks.
New Rules for Short-Term Rentals
Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage -- Legislative amendments and regulations requiring all short-term rentals in the province to register by April 1, 2023, have been proclaimed.
Regulations for More Reliable Power for Large Industrial Customers
Natural Resources and Renewables -- A new performance standard requires Nova Scotia Power to address service complaints from certain large industrial customers within 18 months or face a financial penalty.
