Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal -- NEW WORK

Trade Centre Limited -- Joe Ramia of Argyle Developments Inc. provided an update today, Nov. 28, on the Nova Centre development, including the Halifax Convention Centre.

Municipal Affairs -- The provincial government has reached an agreement with the Town of Bridgetown and the Municipality of the County of Annapolis supporting infrastructure, operating and capital investments for roads, and transitional costs associated with dissolution.

Environment / Health and Wellness -- A review of testing results of soil samples taken in Boat Harbour, Pictou Co., shows the levels of mercury and most other chemicals are within acceptable limits.

Environment -- The Department of Environment today, Nov. 28, posted stack test results from the Northern Pulp mill in Pictou County.

Communities, Culture and Heritage -- The Sherbrooke Village Old Fashioned Christmas Committee won a Crystal Tourism Award of Excellence at the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia conference gala Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Cancer Care Nova Scotia will recognize a health administrator, a medical oncologist, a cancer patient navigator, and a volunteer today, Nov. 26, at its Celebrating Excellence event.

Energy -- The governments of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador, and NSP Maritime Link Inc., a subsidiary of Emera, today, Nov. 26, took part in a ground-breaking ceremony for the start of construction of the Maritime Link project.
