Labour and Advanced Education -- Changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Act that will help keep Nova Scotians safe at work take effect today, June 12.

Communities, Culture and Heritage -- The Bluenose II sailing schedule has been released, including public harbour cruises and the popular Deckhand for a Day program.

Intergovernmental Affairs -- Five Nova Scotia exporters will join businesses and government officials from throughout Atlantic Canada for a trade mission to the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, beginning Sunday, June 11.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- Onze entreprises néo-écossaises seront honorées pour leur succès en exportation dans le cadre de la 33e remise annuelle des Prix d'excellence à l'exportation de la Nouvelle-Écosse, le mercredi 14 juin, au Quai 21. Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- Eleven Nova Scotia companies will be honoured for their success in exporting at the 33rd annual Nova Scotia Export Achievement Awards on Wednesday, June 14, at Pier 21. One will be named the 2017 Exporter of the Year.

Communities, Culture and Heritage -- Tickets for Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta events go on sale Friday, June 9, at noon. Highlights include a concert by Joel Plaskett Emergency and Port Cities, various culinary events, a picnic on McNabs Island, and a historical open house by Parks Canada on Georges Island.

Natural Resources -- Tous les élèves de la 4e année de la province recevront deux nuits de camping gratuites dans l'un des 20 parcs de camping provinciaux.

Natural Resources -- Every Grade 4 student in the province will get two free nights in one of 20 provincial camping parks.

Premier's Office -- Premier Stephen McNeil is in Washington, D.C. this week as part of government’s efforts to protect Nova Scotia’s economy.

Nova Scotia Business Inc. -- Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) announced two newly approved productions through the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund today, June 6.

Public Prosecution Service -- Sylvia Domaradzki has been appointed a Crown attorney in the Special Prosecutions section of the Public Prosecution Service. Ms. Domaradzki joins a team of Crown attorneys dedicated to Internet child exploitation cases.

Justice -- The province has improved the safety and security of the Sydney courthouse with new security screening technology and access-control measures effective today, June 5.
