Housing Nova Scotia -- Nova Scotians living on low incomes will soon have increased access to affordable housing on the Eastern Shore, with an investment of $663,000 from the provincial and federal governments.

Service Nova Scotia -- The Good Neighbour Energy Fund is available again this winter to provide financial assistance to low income Nova Scotians needing help with emergency home heating. The Fund is possible through a partnership between government, Nova Scotia Power and the Salvation Army.

Finance and Treasury Board -- Nova Scotia startup companies and small and medium-sized businesses will benefit from more investment, thanks to a new Innovation Equity Tax Credit launched today by Finance and Treasury Board Minister Karen Casey.

Health and Wellness -- Government intends to act on all of the recommendations received from an expert advisory panel tasked with looking at how to improve the quality of care in long-term care facilities in the province.
