La tragédie des 18 et 19 avril 2020 était un acte dévastateur de violence. Les familles et les communautés en deuil ont de nombreuses questions, et ce, à juste titre. Nous acceptons la responsabilité qui nous a été confiée avec une détermination et un engagement solennels envers l'exécution d'un examen approfondi et indépendant de ces événements tragiques et du contexte plus vaste des circonstances qui ont précédé et suivi ces événements.

Auditor General Says Farewell to Nova Scotia

As the sun sets on my time as auditor general of Nova Scotia – on July 24 – I want to express my thanks to all Nova Scotians for their appreciation and respect for the office’s work during my six years of service to the House of Assembly. As an independent officer of the legislature doing independent audits, I want to pass on my deepest thanks to current and former members of the legislature for the respect and interest shown in the work of my office. During my six years as auditor general the office has tabled 32 reports to assist members in holding government accountable and to positively impact how programs and services are delivered to Nova Scotians.
