Investments Support Student Well-Being and School Safety

COVID - 19 / Education and Early Childhood Development -- Supporting student well-being and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is a top priority for government. That is why today, Dec. 2, Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Zach Churchill announced significant new investments in healthy food programs, math and literacy programs, personal protective equipment for staff and students, and other initiatives to keep schools safe.

Eight new cases of COVID-19 should have been reported on Nov. 27, not nine. As of today, Nov. 30, Nova Scotia has 138 active cases of COVID-19. Sixteen new cases were identified Sunday, Nov. 29.
